Project funded under the PR FSE+ 2021-2027 framework, Activity Pad 1.c.4 – Innovative interventions to support the work-life balance of women and men.

The SmartLex project for work-family balance is a corporate welfare plan aimed at work-life reconciliation, within the framework of the public notice for the financing of corporate welfare plans. The project’s architecture is based on a company philosophy that emphasizes collaborations requiring high levels of creativity and professionalism, operating in multiple project teams, in English, and through co-creative processes. Management, creative, and administrative activities must work closely and strategically to maximize skills and expertise. The co-creative approach is therefore an essential part of the project’s architecture and characterizes every action of the plan. The project’s objectives can be summarized as:

1. Training on rights and available technologies

2. Needs analysis, definition, and promotion of smart working to its fullest extent

3. Guarantee of entry and exit flexibility, including in smart working, with the identification of availability time slots based on the EU employee model

4. Launch and management of a territorial union agreement for the implementation of contractual welfare measures on a renewable three-year basis, including productivity bonuses and other measures for work-life balance through welfare credit on platform

5. Extension of reconciliation measures to all contractually engaged individuals

6. Launch of performance-based corporate welfare measures for specific categories, delivered via platform welfare credit

The increased awareness of needs, in addition to further improving the corporate climate, enables the development of a pragmatic culture of work-life balance. Smart working not only improves this balance, but also allows the company to effectively pursue research and development activities through the flexible modes required by current and future projects. Furthermore, institutionalizing smart working significantly expands the recruitment pool for highly qualified personnel, enabling the company to offer a remote work package enriched by a substantial corporate welfare plan. This will correspond to an increase in staff and company productivity.
