Description
SoBigData Research Infrastructure creates tools and services to give researchers and innovators a platform for the design and execution of large-scale data science and social mining experiments. Exploiting supercomputing facilities, the platform is open to users with diverse backgrounds and accessible on cloud.
SoBigData RI renders social mining experiments more efficiently designed, adjusted, and repeatable by non-data scientists' domain experts by pushing the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable) and FACT (Fair, Accountable, Confidential and Transparent) principles.
Smartlex’s role
Smartlex is leading the legal work package to set up the governance infrastructure, to give a long life to a cutting-edge multi-node, international research infrastructure. Smartlex will participate with Scuola Superiore di Sant’Anna, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, University of Aquila, and University of Leibniz Hannover, along with other top European university partners in the consortium.
Smartlex will create the HR policy and guidelines for the research infrastructure to follow during its lifetime to ensure HR compliance.
