Smartlex ltd is a university spin off from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies – Pisa, devoted to the design development and deployment of innovative technological solutions to facilitate and enable legal and ethical compliance related to data privacy and research ethics.
The team, consisting of professors, researchers, research ethicists, legal experts, data scientists, computer scientists and AI experts, is supported by a well-established network of professionals specialised in different fields, with specific experience in promoting cross-border activities, consultancy and developments in response to EU research calls.
Smartlex's activity has two main branches participation in European competitive R&D funds, producing innovative and technological solutions within the framework of European Union projects, and products, such as SmartlexPrivacy. Our skills contribute to providing legally and ethically compliant solutions by design.
